The scale includes an add and weigh Tare function, allowing you to zero out the weight of containers before adding ingredients. It conveniently converts both dry and liquid measurements, with a maximum capacity of 11 LB X 0.1 Oz for dry ingredients and 5000 grams x 1 gram. For liquid ingredients, it can measure 5000 milliliters x 1 milliliter and 176 FL Oz x 0.1 FL Oz.

One unique feature of this scale is the rotating knob design, inspired by KitchenAid countertop electric ovens. Simply twist the knob to set the units of measurement and push to Tare or power the scale on/off. The Tare function allows you to weigh all ingredients in one container by zeroing out weights between additions, as well as zeroing the weight of any container before adding food.

Powered by three AAA batteries (included), the scale will auto shut-off after 3 minutes of no change in weight on the platform. To clean the scale, simply hand wash with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly - do not immerse in water or put in the dishwasher for best results.
